A. Lassonde inc. is also concerned about everything that involves the environment. Over the past few years, the company has made a considerable effort to ensure adequate wastewater treatment and sound management of the drinking water supply. A. Lassonde Inc. complies with the applicable regulations in selective recycling and packaging recycling as applied by organizations such as Collecte Sélective Québec and Éco Entreprises Québec as well as Corporations Supporting Recycling and Stewardship Ontario.

Over the past few years, in addition to maintaining the above activities, we have made a special effort to reduce the weight of packaging used in our plants. Through these efforts we have attained a recurring annual reduction of approximately 200,000 kg in the weight of plastic PET bottles. With regards to cardboard (boxes and trays) and plastic film, in some areas the reduction in the weight of certain packaging reached 33% of the weight initially used. In short, A. Lassonde continuously strives to respect nature and to work in harmony with it.
